உளவியல் வளர்ச்சி :   ஆரம்பகால உளவியல் தத்துவம் மற்றும் உயிரியல் இரண்டிலிருந்தும் உருவானது. இந்த இரண்டு பாடங்களின் கலந்துரையாடல்களும் அரிஸ்டாட்டில் மற்றும் சாக்ரடீஸ் உள்ளிட்ட ஆரம்பகால கிரேக்க சிந்தனையாளர்களிடமிருந்தே உள்ளன.
